Presbyterian churches have always looked to the Bible as the foundation for all matters of faith and practice, and it is to the Bible that we turn for guidance in shaping the spirit, strategy and content of ministry in education. Clarksville Presbyterian offers a variety of opportunities for all ages.
Children's Message - Our Minister, Rev. Annette Goard, calls the children for a short participatory story early in the Worship service.
Sunday School - Beginning September 11, children are invited to go to the Fellowship Hall for Sunday School immediately following the Children's Time during Worship. (Kindergarten through 5th grade.)
Nursery - Our Nursery, staffed by volunteers, is available during Worship for infants through age 4.
Vacation Bible School - Each summer a one-week ecumenical Vacation Bible School is held cooperatively by Clarksville Presbyterian, Clarksville Baptist, and Jamieson United Methodist.
Storytime - The men of the church, assisted by men from other congregations, read to children, ages 3-5, each Wednesday at 10:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Sundays, 9:30 am - Men's Bible Study
Men rotate responsibility for introducing and facilitating discussion which is Bible-based and relevant to today.
Sundays, 9:30 am - Feasting on the Word Bible Study
The Adult Class meets upstairs in the classroom off the Upper Room. Classes follow the "Feasting on the Word" curriculum. Several members rotate responsibility for leading the class.
Weekday Bible Study - to be announced
Our Pastor, Annette Goard, leads a weekly Bible study based on the scriptural text for the next Sunday.
